All decks will require a building permit and inspection.
All attached garages no matter the size will need a Building Permit and Inspections.

Fill out the forms completely and return them either by mail or by dropping them off in person at the borough building.
*Please note BOTH forms must be filled out COMPLETELY.
Zoning and County Assessment Review
In most cases, Drew Mooney our Zoning Officer will visit the property to ensure the proposed work complies with local zoning regulations.
A fee will apply.
If more than one visit is required, there will be additional charges for every visit.
Borough Review and Submission
Once your application is received, and approved by the zoning officer, the Borough will forward all paperwork to MDIA (Middle Department Inspection Agency) for further processing.

After MDIA receives your information and it is all complete, MDIA will contact you to finalize the permit process, including any additional inspections or approvals required before construction begins. From that point forward MDIA will serve as your main point of contact, guiding you through inspections, verifications, and certifications.
